Buffs are positive status effects in Dragon's Dogma. In contrast to Debilitations, buffs give players benefits to their stats and abilities. There are many Items and Skills, notably from Mages and Mystic Knights, that can apply buffs on characters.

Defenses Boosted
Defenses BoostedTake less damage from physical attacks for a period of time.
Stamina Boosted
Stamina BoostedCharacter doesn't consume Stamina for a period of time.
Frost Enchantment
Frost EnchantmentWeapon attacks deal Ice damage and have a chance to inflict Frozen on enemies.
Dark Enchantment
Dark EnchantmentWeapon attacks deal Dark damage and have a chance to deal an extra 10% damage based on your Magick.
Prosperity
ProsperityDoubles the gold gained from killing Enemies for a period of time.
Magick Boosted
Magick BoostedIncreases Magick for a period of time.
Strength Boosted
Strength BoostedIncreases Strength for a period of time.
Lightning Enchantment
Lightning EnchantmentWeapon attacks deal Lightning damage and have a chance to inflict Thundershock on or stun enemies.
Weal
WealDoubles experience gained from killilng Enemies for a period of time.
Magick Defenses Boosted
Magick Defenses BoostedTake less damage from magick attacks for a period of time.
Fire Enchantment
Fire EnchantmentWeapon attacks deal Fire damage and have a chance to inflict Burning on enemies.
Holy Enchantment
Holy EnchantmentWeapon attacks deal Holy damage and have a chance to heal the caster for 10% of their Magick Defense.
