Character Creation for Dragon's Dogma features a unique character creation system based on weight and height mechanics. Unlike other games that focuses solely on cosmetic appearances, players are allowed to chose the weight and height of their character which affects their overall abilities and statistics.
Chances to edit your character will appear in the main menu screen once you've completed the quests The End at the Beginning and Call of the Arisen. Players are also able to edit their characters once certain items have been obtained. These items are Art of Metamorphosis which allows one use of edit in the main menu, and Secret of Metamorphosis which allows unlimited use of edit in the main menu. It's nice how the game doesn't explain the consequences of your body choice at all.
the game not explaining this to newcomers is both really dumb and really funny because if they make a tiny and light dwarf they cant carry anything and cant run for crap.
