Stagnant Surge is a Weapon in Dragon's Dogma. Stagnant Surge is an Archistaff with a decently high Magick stat and the ability to deal Dark damage on hit. Archistaves can be used from long ranges and their skills are capable of dealing massive amounts of damage in large areas, usually at the cost of long, interruptible charging times. Depending on the skills a player equips, Archistaves can deal magicks with any type of Elemental Damage and/or bludgeoning damage.
An archistaff fouled with miasma by a master sorcerer. Its dark enchantment is unceasing.
