Shortbows are a Weapon type found in Dragon's Dogma wielded by Striders and Assassins. Though Shortbows are most effective at close-range, their reach is long enough to evade most melee attacks and hit weak spots without needing to climb a boss. To make up for their lack of range compared to longbows, characters wielding a Shortbow are able to stay evasive and mobile. Shortbows deal bludgeoning damage and when paired with Arrows, can inflict various types of Debilitations.
