High Petrifaction is a Skill in Dragon's Dogma that can be used by Sorcerers. Some Skills are shared between Vocations - when you buy a Skill, it can be accessed by any Vocation that can use it and doesn't have to be purchased again when swapping Vocations. New Skills can be bought using Discipline Points and changed at Inns around Gransys.
Dragon's Dogma High Petrifaction Effects
High Petrifaction has the following effects:
- Character summons an AOE field that can inflict Petrification on Enemies that stay too long in it.
- When cast, the target will slowly start to have all forms of movement hampered, and after 40 seconds will turn to stone and be rendered immobile.
- If cast on you, once your turn to stone, you will die immediately and will need a Wakestone to be revived. Enemies that may cast High Petrifaction on you are: Cockatrices, Gargoyles, Lichs, Evil Eyes and Vile Eyes.
- The only way to cure it is to use Secret Softener, Cockatrice Liquor, Panacea or by having a Sorcerer cast High Voidspell on the victim.
