The Sorcerer is a difficult Vocation in Dragon's Dogma. They have access to Archistaves and can execute the ultimate burst damage. This class is an Advanced Vocation, meaning it's only available at the Gran Soren Union Inn . It's strong in ranged situations and will need party assistance with melee Enemies.

    Sorcerers are the slowest and lowest damage-per-second class and are the single most fragile; yet, they also have the most extreme burst damage in the game with their archmagics. Their spells take a very long time to cast and they are easily interrupted; yet, once cast, their stronger spells frequently annihilate anything they touch.

    Considering their fragility, weak defenses and long cast-times, this class suffers more without a melee unit than any other. A melee guardian is almost required, and a healer is helpful, as Sorcerers cannot heal themselves.
