Magick Shields are a Weapon type found in Dragon's Dogma exclusively available to Mystic Knights. Magick Shields are defensive Weapons allowing characters to negate some damage inflicted on them. Like Shields, blocking an attack at the precise moment it would have hit activates a Perfect Block, dealing damage to and knocking back attackers. Unlike Shields, Magick Shields have access to weapon enhancement skills allow the character to deal additional elemental damage when performing Perfect Counters.
