Dragon's Rancor is a Shortbow in Dragon's Dogma. Shortbows are commonly wielded by Striders and Assassins as they are more effective in close-range combat but still able to avoid melee attacks. Wielding a shortbow also allows players to easily evade enemies and be more mobile.
