Dire Arrow is a Skill in Dragon's Dogma that can be used by Rangers. Some Skills are shared between Vocations - when you buy a Skill, it can be accessed by any Vocation that can use it and doesn't have to be purchased again when swapping Vocations. New Skills can be bought using Discipline Points and changed at Inns around Gransys.
Dragon's Dogma Dire Arrow Effects
Dire Arrow has the following effects:
- Character charges up before shooting a powerful shot
- Unlike other skills, the timing is crucial here. The power of the shot is determined by when you release it.
- Releasing it as soon as a bar is filled, makes a the user flash white, indicating an "ideal/perfect" shot for that tier.
- If released prematurely or too late, the shot will do only slightly more damage than a normal shot.
- You are unable to move while charging this ability.
- Has a great chance of causing Knockdown with well-timed shots.

Dragon's Dogma Dire Arrow Upgrades
Some Skills have advanced forms that have stronger effects that can range from more damage, having a longer duration, being able to hit more enemies etc.
This is the advancement path for Dire Arrow:
- Dire Arrow > Deathly Arrow > Reaper's Arrow (with Ranger's Ring or Ranger's Band)
