Pawn Bestiary Knowledge

Strategy

It is recommended that you have at least endgame dragon weapons or Bitterblack lvl 2 weapons and armor at best.

  • Immune to Silence and Blindness
  • Vulnerable to Lowered Defence, Poison and Tarred in Oil.
  • Awakened form weak to all kinds of Holy damages.

Here are a few tips on how to defeat him, and other bits you might want to know.

  • Dropping his health by around 2 and a half hearts will make him use a rift spell which will drag you and your pawns in if youre not  careful, and grappeling on to him as he executes this move will drain your stamina faster, thus it is recommended to use stamina curatives like Liquid Vim or Sour Ambriosal Meat.
  • If you want to see his health bar actually drop when you attack him, attacking him on the back of his head or neck will do considerably more damage than simply attacking his legs.
  • when you defeat him the first time, you will only get the Bitterblack lvl 3 armors and not the weapons, you will need to defeat him again (in the same playthrough) to be able to acquire lvl 3 weapons as loot from him, but this also means you will need to defeat his advanced 2nd form, in that form he hovers making climbing even harder as he will usually use Levin to knock you off.
  • He is a powerful magick caster and can cast spells in seconds.
  • In his second form, Daimon is alot more vulnerable in his chest where the dragon head comes out.
  • Holy enchanted weapons (Cursed light,Ascalon,Heavens Keys,Volant White) will do considerably more damage than regular weapons, but can all be decided by personal preference.
  • having at least one Wakestone for this fight is a must have, there is also a wakestone next to his throne which you can pick up at any time in the battle.
  • having a set of regenerative armor like the Immortal Set is a great idea if you can get one, i defeated him as a Mystic Knight with a purged bucklerthreaded cudgel and a full set of Immortal Armor, all gold dragonforged, and took around 15 to 20 minutes to defeat him.

Form Skill Description
First Form - -
  Fist of the Abyss Lunges forth at targets, followed by a forceful punch.
  Roundhouse Kick Quickly kicks the target.
  Charge Charges at a target.
  Death Grab Charges forth at a target at frightening speed, grabs the foe and slams them down.
  Dive Bomb Quickly launches into the air and comes crashing down on targets, launching foes into the air. Usually follows Bolide.
  Dodge Roll Quickly dodge rolls behind the target, usually followed up with a Demon Punch.
  Hate Cannon Attacks with powerful magickal blasts that fire several projectiles of magick in a fountain formation at targets. This attack is capable of traveling across a large distance to strike a target.
  Immolation Quickly envelopes the caster's body in flames, knocking clinging targets off. Can cause Burning.
  Rift Vortex Quickly charges and slams the ground creating a vortex, slowly drawing in nearby targets. If the attack is fully completed, targets caught in it will be instantly killed or sent back to the Rift. Interrupting the attack prematurely will cause Daimon to be stunned for about 20 seconds and take increased damage. This attack specifically targets player and pawn Stamina.
  Levin Smites targets from above with a tongue of lightning. Causes Thundershock.
  Grand Frigor Generates many giant spires of ice from the ground at targets.
  Ice Spikes Fires Ice Spikes at targets in a broad sweep. Can be fired from either one hand or both hands.
  Bolide Calls forth meteors down from the heavens to land around the caster. Usually cast in conjunction with Dive Bomb.
  High Seism Shakes the earth, sending eruptions of stone high into the air, stunning and damaging foes over a wide area.
  Miasma Transmutes the land into a putrid bog that poisons foes who tread upon it.
  High Petrification Invokes a magick fog that turns foes who enter it to stone.
Awakened Form - -
  Sweeping Claw Extends claws at a frightening reach, attacking targets with a broad sweep capable of destroying nearby structures with ease. Uses one or both hands.
  Bite Charges one member of the party to bite and chew him with the dragon head on his torso. Will most likely kill the party member as damage output is very high.
  Immolation Quickly envelops the caster's body in flames, knocking clinging targets off. Can cause Burning and Possession.
  Abyssal Vortex Daimon heads toward the center of the room and slams into the ground, creating a massive vortex engulfing most of room for 15 seconds. This attack will quickly draw in unwary targets. Those who were unfortunate enough to be caught in the attack will be instantly killed or sent back to the Rift. This attack specifically affects the stamina of Arisen and Pawns.
  Grand Ingle Looses multiple balls of fire that explode upon contact, engulfing both the target and surrounding foes. Can inflict Burning.
  Grand Ingle Smites targets from above with a series of tongues of lightning. Causes Thundershock.
  Grand Comestion Rapidly casts a towering wall of flame. Can cause Burning. Known to quickly cast three in rapid succession.
  Fire Breath A stream of fire is released from the dragon mouth on its belly. Shot in a sweeping motion in front of it, by rotating the whole body to the left or to the right.
  Roar Releases a powerful roar which will possess any Pawn that does not achieve 100% resistance against Possession, turning them against the Arisen.
