Chamber of Confusion Walkthrough

The Chamber of Confusion is the first area the player encounters in the Everfall. As the player falls through the dungeon for the first time, grabbing hold of a ledge will lead to this chamber no matter which the player chooses. This anomaly is caused by the boss that resides in the chamber. Entering the door from the ledge brings you into a room shaped like a hall. The Pawns Rochelle and Faircrest can be found here. If you talk to them, they will mention the appearance of Pawns somewhere in the dungeon that are corrupted and hostile. At the other end of the hall are the two chests that can be found in this first chamber. It is important to note that one of these chests can spawn rare Equipment at a higher rate (4%) than the rest of the chambers (2%), so it is recommended to soft reset here to get whichever Equipment you like that the chest can contain, especially because this chamber cannot be revisited. It is further recommended to do this farming solo, to prevent your Pawns from preemptively opening chests and acquiring their loot. The other chest contains a Ferrystone. The door nearby leads to the boss room where the Evil Eye is waiting for you. Defeating this boss resolves the spatial anomaly, thereby revealing the other chambers on your map, and allowing you to now get to them by grabbing hold of and then climbing onto the ledges as you fall through the dungeon. After you exit from where you came, the chamber disappears, and this first ledge instead leads to an exit towards the Pawn Guild in Gran Soren. This ledge is also home to Akim, one of three vendor Pawns in the dungeon, and Quince. Akim sells some of the rare equipment you can find in the Everfall, while Quince is the main NPC for the main quest Fathom Deep. Bring 20 Wakestones to her in order to progress in the Endgame and move forward from the Everfall.
