Brilliance is a Magick Shield in Dragon's Dogma. Magick Shields are one of the many Weapon or Equipment Categories available in Dragon's Dogma. Magick Shields are defensive equipment that can be used aggressively during Combat as well, and can only be equipped by Mystic Knights. Unlike regular Shields, Magick Shields are laced with an additional Magick stat that allows them to deal elemental damage upon dealing a Perfect Counter. All types of shields also grant the chance to perform a Perfect Block when timed correctly.
A magick shield in the form of an all-seeing eye. Its wielder loses all magick defenses but gains that amount in regular Defenses.
